About Yak Medium Music

Yak Medium Music is a dedicated streaming platform built for original music. We give independent artists a clean, minimalist home to publish tracks, craft releases, and reach listeners directly — without the noise of algorithmic clutter or cover-song overload. Every release is an original work, organized into curated artist rows and immersive now-playing experiences that put the sound first.

We're built for two audiences. For fans, Yak Medium Music offers discovery, follow-worthy artists, playlists, synced lyrics, and a full-screen mobile player that turns every track into a moment. For artists, we provide uploads, royalty metadata with writer and publisher splits, ISRC and ISWC tracking, cover art and promo teaser tools, and commercial-use licensing — everything needed to release and manage a catalog professionally.

Yak Medium Music is built and maintained by a small, independent team that believes original music deserves a dedicated stage. Our engineering and product crew designs every feature around the needs of working artists and the fans who support them, from fair 50/50 royalty modeling to subscriber-only downloads and tiered access that respects both creator and listener.

Whether you're here to discover your next favorite track or to share your own original sound with the world, Yak Medium Music is built to keep the focus where it belongs — on the music.
